Welcome to my web site. I have been a ham since February 2004. I live in Olney, Maryland USA (FM19ld) which is about 10 miles north of Washington, DC with my wife, Laurie and my son Sean (KB3KXW). I am very interested in VHF/UHF and HF. I like to participate in contests and to chase grid squares on 6 meters, so far I have my VUCC with 331 grid squares confirmed. II am new on HF and working towards DXCC on 5 bands, so far I have confirmed 174 countries. I hope to have a QSO with you soon.

Mountain Bike Racing 2010

I am ready for a fun filled season of racing! Just got back from my doctor and my arm is 100% healed! I am soooo thankful for my doctor after going to many other doctors and being turned away for a surgery deemed, “to risky”. I can’t wait to get back to normal life and hopefully will be mountain bike racing this spring/early summer! This 2 year nightmare is about to end!

Mountain Bike Racing 2008 & 2009

This mountain bike racing season is on hold and will not happen because I had a severe break in my right arm on Jan 4th. I had surgery on Jan 6th and a 6" plate, 7 screws and a bone graph. I had a 2nd surgery Sept 3 to remove the plate and screws. I am hoping for the best.

On February 26 - February 28, 2009 I participated CQ World Wide 160-Meter Contest. I made 314 contacts with a score of 31064.
On January 23-24, 2010 I participated ARRL January VHF Sweepstakes. I made 369 contacts with a score of 43173.
